Dr. Christina Weidmann specializes in the following areas:
INHERITANCE LAW and CHARITABLE FOUNDATIONS LAW
Dr. Weidmann studied law at the Universities of Freiburg, Vienna and Bonn. She worked as a legal trainee in Frankfurt, Paris and at the German Embassy in Ottawa, Canada. She wrote her doctoral dissertation under Professor Rawert at the Bucerius Law School in Hamburg. She became a specialized inheritance lawyer in 2009.
Dr. Weidmann was admitted to the German bar in 2003. She began her career as a lawyer specializing in inheritance and wealth succession law with offices in Berlin and Stuttgart. She has regularly filled in as a notary public since 2004. She has been a partner at WEIDMANN since 2008.
Dr. Weidmann is certified as a specialist attorney for inheritance. As such, she deals with inheritance, wealth succession and charitable foundations law. She advises clients on issues of inheritance law including planning private and business estates as well as drafting and administering wills. She has many years of experience representing clients on legal issues relating to inheritance and estate tax, particularly in probate court.
Dr. Weidmann advises clients on drafting articles of association for charitable foundations as well as dissolving a charity, including the option of forming a nonprofit GmbH (limited liability company under German law).
